Sometimes during the low season months between June and September the waters on the Tabon Strait can become quite rough, making it difficult for the bangka boats traveling from the Caticlan jetty port over to Cagban Beach on Boracay Island, during this time an alternate route is chosen.
Tambisaan Beach is located on the south-eastern tip of Boracay, where the water is calmer during the low season months, when the water on the west side of Boracay can become rough with high waves making it very difficult to transverse.
Using the route of Tambisaan Beach can add more time to your travel, you can plan to leave at least 30 minutes more advanced using this route. This route is less organized and not nearly as efficient, although Tambisaan Beach is used primarily for emergency use only.
From our Boracay Map here we can see that Tambisaan Beach is located on the most southern-east end of Boracay Island.
