Another small white beach that sits on the southern end of Boracay Island between Cagban Beach and Tambisaan Beach is the Manoc-Manoc Beach, used primarily by the residents of Boracay Island to receive and export large amounts of commercial and residential goods.
Manoc-Manoc Beach is also a place where you will find experienced Boracay kite-boarders and wind surfers, with the strong currents and winds this makes for the ideal setting.
On certain days you can have winds here that reach up to 6 knots or 6.9 miles per hour, which for kite-boarders and Boracay wind surfers is really fast.
Special Note: From here you cannot really walk to D' Mall in Boracay unless you are really adventures, and your into hiking, it would most likely take about 1.5 to 2 hours. However if you choose you can hire a small tricycle, this will take about 15 minutes.
Our Boracay Map shows the location of Manoc-Manoc Beach with respect to the many other beaches on the island of Boracay.
FUN FACT: Manoc in Tagalog means chicken.
